And this is just in the past week!

I guess I just blame all of our activity on making me fat.
Oh yeah, I am soooo reaching today ;).

I’ve never lived in California (sadly) but I was surprised at how people here reacted a few weeks ago when we had our little 5.2 earthquake.
People were talking about hiding in doorways and waking up their children when they’d have been better off just staying in bed.

OHH LOOKY! Our Earthquake (Illinois) is on the map. We are so very proud of it. OH and we celebrate every little aftershock too. They are so rare here. In fact one of the girls I work with was pissed they weren’t bigger and didn’t knock anything off the shelves or walls.

Hilly: It’s because those damn tremblors keep shaking up your metabolism!
Penelope: Hahaha! I can just here you saying that.
Muse: I’m sure some folks believe the Big One is nigh.
Suze: And most of it goes unnoticed by the natives.
ajooja: Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny. 5.2 isn’t worth getting out of bed for.
Becky: LOL! Some Californians feel that way about our tiny tornadoes. NOT me.

We’re shaking like crazy here in Reno too. We’ve had over 300 quakes in the last 2 weeks! People are freaking out and they put a freeze on buying earthquake insurance, which is ironic since no one thinks to buy it when we’re not having earthquakes.
