Pseudoturkey!
And now, for the non-carnivorous traditionalists yearning for a true Thanksgiving feast, a 100% meat-free turkey!

Swear to God, it’s a pseudoturkey made out of molded soy protein. We spotted these in the freezer section of Sprouts, while we were picking up our certified organic, free-range REAL turkey.

I actually think this is a pretty cool idea, as long as they have a decent taste. Kim, you still have time get one for tomorrow!
UPDATE: When we went back to finish our shopping Wednesday night, these were ALL GONE.

My buddy Adam is vegan and one of the best part of Thanksgiving was that we would find pretty much any excuse to discuss the vegetarian turkey… aka tofurkey.
How can you not love that word: Tofurkey.

Bleh! Ha ha ha! We are hosting Thanksgiving at our house, but someone else is bringing a real turkey. Steven and I just eat all the side dishes - there is definitely enough of those!

As a vegetarian, I should be thrilled… but that just grosses me out! :-)
